WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT
If you come to our office with pain or discomfort, we will address this problem at your first visit prior to doing a comprehensive evaluation of your dental needs. Your comfort is our main concern.
A non-emergency initial visit involves a comprehensive evaluation of your dental needs. The first thing we do is “Listen”. An in depth interview by Dr. Hurwitz will give you the opportunity to tell us what is important to you as far as you dental care. At that time we also try to find out “who” you are so that our staff can better serve your needs. Our treatment must reflect not only your treatment needs but also your desires.
Depending on you current state of dental health, we will take necessary diagnostic X-rays, take diagnostic digital photos, Make plaster casts of your teeth, evaluate your occlusion (bite), your teeth, your gums, and do a Cancer exam. If minimal treatment is indicated, we will present you with a plan at this time. For more involved treatment we will schedule a consultation visit to explain and answer questions about the dentistry you require.
